All unvaccinated and vaccinated travelers are permitted to enter the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. This includes citizens, residents, and international travelers.

If you are traveling to St. Kitts, it is required that you complete the online Immigration and Customs ED Form before arrival. Upon completion, you will receive a receipt with a QR code that you must present upon arrival in St. Kitts. Your QR code can be printed out or scanned directly from your phone.

All persons travelling must comply with air travel regulations of their destination country. Travelers should familiarize themselves with restrictions and regulations ahead of arriving at the airport, as requirements are strictly enforced. Any container of liquids, gels, or aerosols packed in carry-on or hand luggage must not exceed 3.4fl oz. All such items must also fit into a single, quart-sized clear bag, and that bag must close. If necessary, zip-lock bags are available for purchase at the airport.

Will I need to have taken a COVID-19 test before traveling?
No

What is the health and safety protocols visitors are required to follow while in St. Kitts and Nevis?
Visitors are required to follow basic health and safety protocols of frequent handwashing and or sanitizing, observe physical distancing, and wearing masks. 

What forms do I need to complete?
All incoming passengers to St. Kitts and Nevis must complete and submit the Immigration and Customs ED form which includes a Custom and Border Form at: knatravelform.kn

What Should I Expect at the Airport?

What precautions are recommended while on-island?
For your health and safety, please wear a mask, practice social distancing, wash your hands every hour and sanitize every 30 minutes, follow all protocols while engaged in island tours, and have your own personal hand sanitizer with you at all times.

What should I do if I start to feel sick?
Should you feel as if you are showing signs of COVID-19, please do the following:

  1. If you are staying at a hotel or government facility, please stay in your room and contact the front desk via telephone for immediate medical assistance and instructions.
  2. If you are staying at a private property, please contact your preferred medical practitioner via telephone for immediate assistance and instructions.
  3. For returning nationals and residents, contact your doctor’s office or call 311 immediately.

Where are the on-island testing for travelers conducted?

If a pre-depature test is still required for the country of the destination, travelers must take an Antigen test( USD 50-55 visitors' cost) or an RT-PCR test (USD 150 visitors’ cost) 48 to 72 hours prior to departure. The test should be scheduled through the hotel concierge desk. Pre-departure tests will be taken solely by a Ministry of Health approved health professional. International travelers who are staying in villas, condos and/or private homes are advised to contact the COVID-19 taskforce hotline 311 or covid19taskforce@gov.kn to schedule their pre-departure tests.

Departing St. Kitts and Nevis

Do I need to take a departure test?

International Travelers arriving by air are not required to submit an exit RT-PCR test. However, if a pre-departure test is still required for the country of the destination, travelers must take an Antigen test (USD 50-55 visitors' cost) or an RT-PCR test (USD 150 visitors’ cost) 48 to 72 hours prior to departure. Pre-departure tests will be taken solely by a Ministry of Health-approved health professional.

Testing upon departure is not required for Nationals/Residents of St. Kitts unless required for the country of destination. If a pre-departure test is still required for the country of destination, the Antigen test (USD 50-55 visitors' cost) or the RT-PCR test (USD 100 visitors' cost) will be taken 24 to 72 hours prior to departure. An Antigen should only be taken only if the country of the destination accepts approved rapid testing.

If I am not staying at a hotel and need to have a Departure COVID-19 test done, where do I go?

International travelers who are staying in villas, condos and/or private homes are advised to contact the COVID-19 taskforce hotline 311 or covid19taskforce@gov.kn to schedule their pre-departure tests.
